Research Interests
I am directing the Laboratory for Software Engineering Research (LaSER) at UNO. My research interests include various aspects of software engineering with particular focus on the application of source code analysis and manipulation for the detection of code smells, program faults, and vulnerabilities. My research also includes human aspects of software engineering encompassing sentiment analysis and its implications on software engineering practices. My research methodology involves static/dynamic program analysis, source code manipulation, empirical studies, prototype development and evaluations.
